Terms of Service
Last updated: March 4, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using Brevit (“Service,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Description of Service
Brevit is an AI-powered email briefing service. It connects to your email accounts via OAuth, reads your email to identify action items, questions, and deadlines, and delivers a prioritized summary to help you manage your inbox more efficiently.
Brevit is provided “as is” and is currently in early access. Features, pricing, and availability may change at any time.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Brevit. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using Brevit on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
3. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us immediately at admin@brevit.app if you suspect unauthorized access.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, engage in abusive behavior, or pose a security risk to other users or the platform.
4. User Responsibilities
By using Brevit, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information when creating your account
- Only connect email accounts that you own or are authorized to access
- Use the Service for lawful purposes only
- Not attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security features of the Service
- Not use the Service to access, store, or transmit any material that is unlawful, harmful, or infringes the rights of others
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the Service
5. Acceptable Use
You may not use Brevit to:
- Access email accounts without proper authorization
- Violate any applicable local, state, national, or international law or regulation
- Transmit spam, malware, or other harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its related systems
- Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service except as explicitly permitted
- Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation
6. Email Access and Data
By connecting an email account to Brevit, you grant us permission to access that account’s content on your behalf using OAuth, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You retain full ownership of your email data. Brevit’s access is limited to what is necessary to provide the Service. You can revoke this access at any time by disconnecting your account from the Settings page or by revoking access through your email provider’s security settings.
7. Usage Limits
Your use of Brevit is subject to the limits associated with your subscription plan, including but not limited to: the number of connected email accounts, the number of connected email accounts and historical pull depth. Current plan limits are described on our Pricing page.
You agree not to circumvent or attempt to bypass these limits through any means. We reserve the right to throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts that engage in excessive or abusive usage patterns that degrade the Service for other users.
8. Subscription and Billing
Brevit offers paid subscription plans billed on a monthly or annual basis. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your Settings page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then. We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
We may change our pricing at any time. If we change the price of your current plan, we will notify you at least 30 days in advance. Your continued use after the price change constitutes acceptance.
Free trial users are not charged during the trial period. If you do not subscribe before your trial ends, your access to email processing and briefing features will be paused, but your existing data will be preserved.
9. Intellectual Property
The Brevit service, including its design, software, algorithms, and content (excluding your email data), is owned by Brevit and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service without our written permission.
10. AI-Generated Content
The summaries, classifications, and briefings generated by Brevit are produced by AI and may contain errors or inaccuracies. Always verify important information directly from the source. Email content is processed by third-party AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy. 14. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Your Data → Delete All My Data. You may also contact us at admin@brevit.app for assistance.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service immediately ceases. Sections 9, 11, 12, and 13 survive termination.
15. Changes to These Terms
